Have you noticed how many systems there are for winning new customers? They come complete with training videos and step-by-step out-of-the-box strategies all with a hefty price tag. Much of the advice they offer relates to the form of words you use; the clever use of rhetorical questions and proposition statements etc. Sound but not rocket science. However, they are not concerned about the quality of your product. After all, they are selling shovels not gold.

I prefer to address the difficult challenges; positioning and communicating your product in a way that makes it salable and that includes developing the language triggers that will engage the interest of your customers.

These are some of the organisations for which I have undertaken marketing and branding projects, supported by leading graphic designers and web masters:

Bordeaux and Beyond

logo_bordeauxBordeaux and Beyond is an Immobilier based in Aquitaine and caters to both French and English customers. I helped to develop build the brand from scratch, including coming up with the name and developed the corporate identity and website.

Food Secret

Foodsecret2 Food Secret is an up-market health food eatery in Soho and provided me an unusual project,  just completed, to develop the content for a series of flat screen display panels about the ingredients used in their meal.  The original concept of Stories Revealed came from designer James Hatfield. I helped to develop it further and research and write all the captions. Click here to see some of the panels.

The Knowledge Exchange

logo_kxThe Knowledge Exchange enables health care professionals across the NHS to share their expertise. I re-branded the company and produced a newsletter to build awareness. The company has since undergone a merger and been rebranded again.

i-coach academy

logo_icoachi-coach academy provides graduate courses for executive coaches. MD Caroline Horner needed some help to get her website up and running and I helped to plan the site structure and write first draft copy which she could take forward.

CPM

logo_cpmCPM is a long established recruitment company that specialises in catering and retail. They wanted to broaden their offer to general staff recruitment and needed a new web site with branding that reflected their master site. Parity Solutions asked me to come up with a new concept to take the business forward.

CareerMax

logo_cmax_smallCareerMax was a careers advisory service helping anyone from school leavers to senior executives to choose the right career for them. I developed the corporate identity and brochure to launch the company.

Dynamic Solutions

Dynamic Solutions provides highly interactive, drama-based training that is designed to achieve culture change across organisations. The brief was to reflect the transition that trainees undergo during the training process leading towards the ultimate goal of emotional commitment. The brochure is a three fold leaflet.

Magex

magex_logoMagex is payments services company founded by NatWest. I worked with Caroline Horner, the then Head of Communications (now MD of i-coach academy) during and after the launch, writing presentations, web content and this brochure.

Merrill Lynch

The Atlantic Fellowship is an exchange programme managed by Merrill Lynch and endorsed by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. It provides opportunities for young students in their final year of school to experience and learn about the world of investment banking and financial services, whilst further developing relations between the US and UK. I wrote the copy for the brochure.

Regulatory Resources Group

rrg_logoRRG provides a range of regulatory services to the pharmaceutical industry, helping companies to manage every stage of the drug development process. I developed a new corporate identity for RRG  which was launched with a snappy new brochure.
