rochelogo Medcomms Roche Diagnostics manufactures a test for the Human Papilloma Virus which causes cervical cancer. The test is applied to abnormal smears and allows doctors to refine their treatment options. Roche needed three dramatised scenarios to show GPs how to explain the HPV test to patients. I wrote the scenarios and conducted off-camera interviews with the consultants. (Mediapool)

sanofi MedcommsI have worked on a variety projects for Sanofi in Paris and the UK. These include case study videos and off-camera interviews with doctors and patients in English and French. Most recently, I wrote the copy for a corporate brochure and sales leave behind. (Brainstorm Communications)

logo nhs Medcomms Understanding Prostate Disease is a nationwide project to help patients recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) make the right treatment choices for them. Comprehensive video presentations featuring doctors and patients and presented by newscaster Martin Lewis go over the treatment options. I wrote the programmes and directed the interviews with the doctors and patients. (Pukka Films)

A Video News Reel (VNR) for GlaxoSmithKline about the benefits of vaccination against Human Papilloma Virus to prevent cervical cancer.  I conducted a series of interviews in English and French with women who had been diagnosed with cancer and who spoke about the importance of vaccinating young girls. I worked on themeing and content for the 2011 International Sales Meeting.  My theme One HEART, One COMPANY proved such a success it has since been developed into a branded internal communication campaign. boehringer logo MedcommsBoehringer Ingelheim created a new division to produce biosimilars of anti-cancer drugs. Biosimilars are close copies of molecules that have passed out of patent that offer similar efficacy at lower cost.  These drugs must undergo clinical trials and BI required a video to explain the protocol.  I covered these issues in an off-camera interview with the lead consultant from the Royal Marsden Hospital.
